On 25 February 2016 Pawel Wysocki, Fergal Quinn and Ed Woollam launched WQW Ltd (trading as Wysocki Quinn Woollam), a new legal practice based in the West End opposite Liberty’s department store and next door to the London Palladium, that advises on the acquisition and financing of superyachts, commercial vessels, rolling stock and business jets.

While a number of larger law firms include those practice areas in their overall offering, Wysocki Quinn Woollam will focus purely on providing transactional advice in these sectors and will offer owners, lenders and managers a bespoke service. The founding partners have over 40 years of legal experience in these specialist areas between them and are known for their practical commercial advice and professional integrity.

Fergal Quinn remarks – “We are excited about the creation of this new firm because it is about clarity of focus and absolute integrity in serving clients’ requirements”.

Pawel Wysocki adds – “Our proposition is that we do what we do well, we are single-minded in assisting our clients and perhaps most importantly we care about getting the right result for clients, not about simply building turnover.”

Ed Woollam remarks – “The firm represents a new proposition in the London legal market in terms of the maritime, aviation and rolling stock sectors – a purely transactional practice that can assist owners, banks, managers etc. at competitive rates without being conflicted due to the demands of other practice areas. Furthermore, as a boutique firm with specialists who are genuinely interested in and knowledgeable about our clients, we are able to offer legal services with a human face.”
